I am passionate about bringing the therapeutic benefits of yoga to as many people as possible. Many clients initially come to yoga for the fitness benefits; however quickly realise there is more to it than just a workout, including improved flexibility and strength, reduced stress levels, and increased focus and concentration. I work with clients to tailor their yoga practice to their individual goals and needs.
Yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years. Having experienced its many benefits, I wanted to share the practice with others and help them experience them too. Thanks to the encouragement of my yoga teacher, I embarked on a journey to explore yoga further and became a certified yoga teacher myself in 2006.
Over the years, my experience has led me to teach individuals with complex medical conditions and physical disabilities the transformative power of yoga. Often facing unique challenges, I have seen first-hand how yoga can help improve their physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life.
I have dedicated hours to complete the following courses, and firmly believe there is always more to learn to deepen my knowledge and grow. I am currently studying Yoga Therapy.
I have completed over 700 hours of yoga teacher training, including:
In addition, I have also completed additional programmes at the well-renowned Swami Rama and Sivananda Ashrams in Rishikesh, India – the world’s yoga capital.
